There was plenty still going on in the transfer market after Friday’s 11pm deadline as several Premier League clubs submitted deal sheets to extend their window.
Raheem Sterling joined Arsenal on loan from Chelsea, while Jadon Sancho is set to head from Manchester United to the Blues.
Victor Osimhen ended up staying in Napoli despite his links to London and the Red Devils got their deal for Manuel Ugarte over the line.
Read on for some of the other big deals you may have missed.
Toney to Al-Ahli
Despite links to Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United, Ivan Toney ended up making the switch to Saudi Arabia.
Al-Ahli picked up the England striker from Brentford in a £40million deal, just days after he was left out of the Three Lions squad for the upcoming Nations League games.
We can confirm that Ivan Toney has joined Saudi Pro League club Al-Ahli on a permanent transfer

He was described as a Brentford legend by Thomas Frank, who had nothing but positive words to say about the 28-year-old.
He said: “It’s been a pleasure to work with Ivan over the last four years.
“On the pitch, he has been a fantastic goalscorer, link-up player and leader. He has pushed the team, the squad and himself. Ivan leaves as a Brentford legend.”
Nketiah to Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace completed the first of what would be two major deals for them on deadline day, bringing Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah to South London.
The 25-year-old set the Eagles back £30million and has signed a five-year deal at the club.
Born in the area, Nketiah is finally set to get regular minutes after playing as a back-up for the Gunners.
Back South.

He said: “It’s amazing to sign for Crystal Palace – I’m excited to get going.
“Every time I come back to South London, it always puts a smile on my face, so it’s good to be back home.”
The deal has also allowed Odsonne Edouard to join Leicester on loan.
Broja to Everton
It looked like unwanted Chelsea forward Armando Broja was going to be heading to Ipswich, but the deal collapsed late on Friday.
News quickly broke that Everton had submitted a late deal sheet for the Albanian striker and they managed to get everything in place in time.
The 22-year-old has joined the Toffees on loan, with an option to buy included.
We are pleased to announce Armando Broja has joined the Club on a season-long loan, with an option to make the move permanent next summer ✍️

Director of football Kevin Thelwell said: “Having monitored Armando’s journey for a number of years, we’re very pleased to have been able to bring him to the club.
“Armando is still a young player who has already built up some impressive experience but someone we also feel has lots more potential to be unlocked.”
Nelson to Fulham
Another failed deal for Ipswich emerged on Deadline Day when Reiss Nelson joined Fulham instead of the Tractor Boys.
The 24-year-old has joined the Cottagers on a straight loan from Arsenal, in the hope that he can get some more gametime away from the Emirates.
Nelson joins former Gunner Emile Smith-Rowe at Craven Cottage having enjoyed previous loan spells at Feyenoord and Hoffenheim.
The last piece. 🧩

With 90 first-team appearances under his belt with the Gunners, he could prove to be a good addition for Fulham.
Chalobah to Crystal Palace
Trevoh Chalobah joins Nketiah in South London for the 2024-25 season.
The Chelsea defender has arrived at Selhurst Park on a season-long loan deal, having made 80 appearances for the Blues.
He said: “I’m delighted to join an ambitious club like Crystal Palace.
“I know some of the boys in the squad well and I’m looking forward to playing alongside them in front of the amazing support at Selhurst Park.”

Ward-Prowse to Nottingham Forest
Julen Lopetegui has continued his ruthless approach to life at West Ham by sending James Ward-Prowse away from the club.
The former Southampton midfielder has joined Nottingham Forest on loan – although there is no option for the Tricky Trees to buy him.
Ward-Prowse said: “I’m delighted to be here.
“When I knew I had the opportunity to join the club and come and show what I can do, I thought it was a fantastic opportunity.
“Having played Nottingham Forest a few times, the atmosphere here is one of the best I’ve played in in the Premier League, so to now hopefully experience that week in, week out is something really special.”
