Tonight’s Live Results: Beterbiev Vs. Bivol 2 – From Riyadh

Undisputed light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev will meet Dmitry Bivol tonight in the 12-round main event in a loaded card on DAZN PPV in Riyadh. The undercard has undergone some changes in the last week, but it’s been held together with two quick replacements.

WBO interim Joseph Parker (35-3, 23 KOs) is facing his replacement opponent Martin Bakole (21-1, 16 KOs), on two days’ notice, and he will have to adapt on the fly. Parker has the advantage of attending a whole training camp for this fight. Bakole hasn’t been in camp and weighed unofficially at 315 lbs today, his career high.

WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson defends against his replacement opponent, Josh Padley. Turki Alalshikh left this fight high on the card despite it being a replacement opponent.

IBF, WBA, WBC, and WBO 175-lb champion Beterbiev (21-0, 20 KOs) and challenger Bivol (23-1, 12 KOs) insist that they will improve from their previous fight. Both looked like they were maxed out, and it’s difficult to imagine either making any new changes. Beterbiev is coming into this fight healthy, and that could be the difference.
