Although the WNBA and WNBAPA are in the midst of an intense negotiation over a new labor deal, with the league giving March 10, 2026, as a hard deadline for an agreement to be reached by in order to avoid affecting the league schedule, the buzz and excitement around the league is stronger than ever.

As the league has grown in popularity, players have gotten more and more opportunities off the court as well, and another booming industry is women’s signature sneakers. Signature basketball shoes for star players (think Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James) have long been an important part of the NBA cultural DNA, and the same phenomenon is beginning to happen in the W.

While we don’t know exactly when the 2026 WNBA season is set to start, we do what players will be lacing up whenever it does get underway. Here are our picks for the top five signature sneakers in the WNBA in 2026.

New York Liberty Star Breanna Stewart isn’t afraid to take the unbeaten path. Stewart is a co-founder of the Unrivaled League, a three-on-three league running during the WNBA’s offseason that serves as an alternative to playing overseas. Stewart took a similar unorthodox approach to her shoe deal, signing with Puma, in an age where Nike and Adidas reign supreme.

It’s proven to be a prudent move. Stewart’s shoe line has been defined by exceptional performance, especially for guards, and a low retail price relative to its competitors.

While the line’s next shoe, the Stewie 5, hasn’t officially been released, Stewart has debuted what many are expecting to be the shoe during the Unrivaled campaign, and there’s no reason to expect a drop off.

A’Ja Wilson’s case for the best player in WNBA history only gets stronger every year, so it was only fitting that the Nike athlete be given her own shoe line. The A’One debuted in 2025, and it was fitting for a GOAT.

Wilson’s signature sneaker debut boasts the elite cushioning and containment that’s needed for someone with her prowess in the post. The A’One delivers elite bounciness without being overly clunky. The A’Two will have a lot to live up to.

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is one of the primary drivers of the league’s newfound success and may be the biggest name in the business when it comes to marketing. That’s why it made too much sense when Reese followed in Shaquille O’Neal’s footsteps, launching her signature sneaker with Reebok.

Reese’s debut line delivers a top-class aesthetic with a premium feel, both of which can be rare for debut signature sneakers. With some of the best traction in the shoe market, any shifty player will want to make sure they pick up a pair of these for their summer hoop sessions.

This will undoubtedly be the most controversial choice on this list, considering we have no idea what Clark’s signature line will look or perform like. However, 2025 saw Clark’s signature logo debut, and the fact of the matter is she’s the biggest name in the league, backed by the biggest brand in the industry.

It’s unlikely Nike will cut a single corner when it comes to Clark’s debut, especially considering the demand.  Clark has been playing in Nike Kobe’s thus far in her career, and even player edition colorways of those have already proven to be some of the most difficult shoes to obtain on the market.

There’s no telling how hard her debut will be to get, but we finally know when we’ll find out. Clark’s first signature sneaker is set to release in the 2026 holiday season, but hopefully, we see the Fever star debut them during a deep playoff run.

This signature line has been undeniable since they debuted.  Another line from the New York Liberty, Sabrina Ioenescu’s line is in a big way responsible for all the new shoe deals coming to the women’s game.

Ionescu’s line has been so successful that it’s even been widely adopted in the NBA, and for good reason. The Sabrina 3 boasts world-class traction, Nike’s leading cushioning technology, and strong support. This line has a legitimate argument as the most consistent in the industry, and each rendition has been better than the last.

Hopefully, the league agrees to a deal that pays the players what they’re worth, and we’ll all get to see these shoes on the hardwood worn by their athletes as scheduled for their season.
