Chicago Sky star Angel Reese’s latest podcast episode was released on Thursday night, featuring Kayla Nicole as a guest. Nicole, a model and influencer, was in a five-year relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, which reportedly ended in late 2022.
Reese has hosted six episodes of her Unapologetically Angel podcast, with previous guests such as Dwyane Wade, Latto, and Sheryl Swoopes. In this week’s episode, Reese and Nicole covered a range of topics, including a detailed discussion about Nicole’s past relationship with Kelce.
During the conversation, Reese asked Nicole about her current relationship with Kelce, now that he has been dating pop star Taylor Swift for over a year. Nicole explained that while they may acknowledge each other in public, they are cautious due to Swift’s high profile and the potential for misinterpretation.
“We’ve crossed paths in public, but given his new situation, we understand the need to maintain distance and avoid any public interactions that could be misconstrued,” Nicole shared with Reese.

While the description of Kelce and Swift’s relationship as a “situation” raised eyebrows, Reese’s comment expressing her fondness for the former couple seemed somewhat misplaced.
Nicole also addressed rumors about Kelce being frugal during their relationship and discussed the extreme behavior of some Taylor Swift fans.
“The level of hate and online chaos does affect me, even now,” Nicole admitted. “You can see on my latest post, there are people arguing why I’m worthless and will never succeed.”
