The USTA has revealed the lineup for the 2024 US Open singles tournaments, featuring top players like Iga Swiatek and Jannik Sinner. Defending champions Coco Gauff and Novak Djokovic are also among the notable entries, along with Aryna Sabalenka and Carlos Alcaraz.
The United States leads with 25 players earning direct entry into the tournament, including top-ranked women like Gauff, Jessica Pegula, and Danielle Collins, and top men like Taylor Fritz, Tommy Paul, and Ben Shelton.
Some American players received direct entry through special or protected rankings, such as Reilly Opelka (No. 33), Shelby Rogers (No. 51), and Lauren Davis (No. 59).
Entries were based on the July 15 rankings, with the women’s cutoff at No. 96 and the men’s at No. 98.
This week, American tennis celebrates having five women ranked in the Top 15 for the first time in two decades.
The 2024 US Open main draw will be held from August 26 to September 8 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. The event starts with Fan Week and the Qualifying Tournament on August 19.
