The UFC has announced three new fights for its March 8 pay-per-view event in Las Vegas, with The Ultimate Fighter featherweight winner Mairon Santos making his return against Francis Marshall. Also added to the card are Alex Morono facing Carlos Leal in a welterweight bout and flyweights Bruno Silva and Joshua Van set to meet in March.
These match-ups were confirmed by MMA Fighting, following reports by Ag. Fight and Octagon Updates.
The headlining attraction for UFC 313, scheduled to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, has not been announced by the UFC yet.
Santos (14-1) earned his spot in the TUF 32 final with wins over Edwin Cooper Jr. and Guillermo Torres, culminating in a knockout victory over Kaan Ofli.
Marshall (8-2) will return to action after securing a split decision win over Dennis Buzukja in August 2024, bringing his UFC record to 2-2.
Morono (24-11, 1 no contest) is looking to bounce back after losing four of his last six fights in the UFC, including recent decision losses to Niko Price and Daniel Rodriguez.
Leal (21-6) is seeking his first UFC win after replacing Nursulton Ruziboev on short notice and losing a decision to Rinat Fakhretdinov at UFC 308. This marked his first defeat since leaving the PFL in 2023.
Van (12-2) aims to extend his two-fight win streak over Cody Durden and Edgar Chairez in March, facing Silva (14-6-2, 1 no contest) who is coming off a knockout loss to Manel Kape at UFC Tampa, ending his four-fight win streak.
