UFC Middleweight Sedriques Dumas (10-3) is being held on a $558,500 bond in an Escambia County, Fla. jail.
He was detained on Monday and faces five separate charges: felony home invasion robbery without a firearm, misdemeanor battery, felony possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted felon, felony possession of a controlled substance without prescription, and misdemeanor drug equipment possession.
This isn’t the first time Dumas has been arrested. It’s not even the first time he’s been arrested while under UFC contract. In fact, this is the 15th time Dumas has been taken into custody and booked in Escambia County since 2014.

Dumas was arrested and faced battery felony charges in February 2024, but those charges were ultimately dismissed. His past arrests include aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, and domestic battery.
The 29-year-old fighter made his way to the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series in 2022 as an undefeated prospect. He made his official octagon debut in March 2023 at UFC Fight Night 221, losing to Josh Fremd via submission. In his six-fight tenure in the UFC, Dumas has gone 3-3. He last fought UFC 314 earlier this month losing to Michal Oleksiejczuk by TKO in the first round.
