Unbeaten super welterweight says Benn ‘needs a good beating’

Conor Benn enjoyed a memorable return to boxing in 2025. He shared the ring twice with Chris Eubank Jr, losing a competitive first fight, before winning the rematch decisively. Since that win, Benn has been linked with a world title shot back at 147 and was called out by Shakur Stevenson after Shakur’s comprehensive win over Teofimo Lopez. Unbeaten Irish super welterweight contender Caoimhin Agyarko has taken to his personal X account to give his brutal, honest opinion on Benn (24-1, 14 KOs).

Conor Benn called out by Shakur Stevenson

After his dominating win over Lopez, Stevenson was asked what he wanted to do next, and responded with clear intent:

“There’s a fighter in here right now, and he motivated me too. Where’s Conor Benn?”

“Hey Conor Benn, we can get it banging, boy. We can get it banging!”

Stevenson added: “I want that same rehydration clause that you put on (Chris) Eubank Jr. and I want a fight.”

Before anyone could blink, Benn was in the ring to confront Stevenson:

“You’re too small for me,” Benn told the undefeated Stevenson. “You’re tiny, you’re tiny. You can’t punch. You can’t keep me off of you. I’ll rough you up.”

An underterred Stevenson said:

“Sign the contract. Let’s make it happen.

“Eddie (Hearn),” he shouted over to his Matchroom Boxing promoter, “I want him, he’s food.”

Caoimhin Agyarko makes it clear he’s no fan of Benn

Agyarko (18-0, 7 KOs) had his say on Benn’s behaviour in the ring:

“Conor Benn is truly embarrassing jumps in the ring calling out a guy smaller than him WHOS a 4 weight world champion saying he’s too small but let’s get it on whilst not earning his shot to literally fight anyone that drug cheat needs a good beating to bring him bk to earth.”

Conor Benn is saying he will fight everyone at the moment, and we can seemingly add Caoimhin Agyarko to that list. Could we see Benn vs Agyarko at 154? It feels like a fight that would need a belt to make it happen?
