Valorant is adding an official prediction feature called Shotcall, and lucky fans have the chance to earn rewards from correct guesses.

On August 5, 2025, Riot Games announced Shotcall through its official media channels. Shotcall is a new Twitch extension where players can bet on the outcome of various events and earn points for guessing correctly. The first test will be on August 8 with three more sessions scheduled for later this month. The system will feature a leaderboard where top players can earn prizes for predictions. While still early in development, the company is already calling on players to sign up for an open beta test. The first rollout will include at least one special prize, though Riot has yet to reveal what it will be.

Shotcall’s prediction system will automatically generate at the start of each match. Players can call out which team will win as well as predict various stats about each player. In the sample image, Shotcall asks users how many kills a particular player will get in an upcoming round as well as which player will get the first kill. The announcement also implies that players can bet on the outcome of clutches. Correct predictions provide points based on their likelihood, which will contribute toward an online leaderboard. The prize distribution system is not yet announced, but players should connect their Twitch and Riot accounts ahead of time.

How to sign up for the Valorant Shotcall beta test

The Shotcall beta test is open to all Valorant spectators on desktop using a custom Twitch extension.

Users will have to go to an official VCT Americas Twitch channel during a live game. In the top-left corner, they should see a red crystal ball. Clicking it will download the Shotcall Twitch extension. Once downloaded, players can place bets on in-game actions. Prediction opportunities are automatically generated at various points before and during a match.

As for prizes, Riot has confirmed that top performers will get special rewards based on their placing in the leaderboard. What these prizes will be is still unknown. They could be gun skins commemorating their achievement or other forms of customization like player banners and icons. With the Shotcall beta test opening up on August, players won’t have to wait long to find out.
