Ferrari team principal Fred Vasseur is eyeing three upcoming circuits as potential opportunities to gain points on Red Bull and McLaren after the summer break. However, the team must first navigate through Zandvoort without losing ground.
With Red Bull leading the constructors’ championship, Ferrari is determined to close the gap. Despite facing setbacks with an upgrade in Spain, signs of improvement in Belgium have boosted confidence. Vasseur emphasizes the importance of a strong performance in Zandvoort before the team can be more competitive in the following races.

“Fixing the bouncing issue is a performance step,” Vasseur stated. “We are working tirelessly to make improvements and will introduce them as soon as possible. We have a favorable track sequence with Monza, Baku, and Singapore, which suit our car’s characteristics. Our main focus is to secure points.”
“Our goal in Spa was to maintain our position relative to McLaren and Red Bull, which we achieved. The same objective applies in Zandvoort, as I believe the upcoming races will be more promising for us,” Vasseur added.
Vasseur highlights how Mercedes’ turnaround in Belgium demonstrates the impact of small improvements this season. He stresses the importance of attention to detail and not overreacting in order to stay competitive.
“It’s crucial to pay attention to every detail in the highly competitive current field. We need to maintain control, focus on the small gains, and stay positive,” Vasseur concluded.
