The tennis world’s newest love story features Venus Williams, who was recently seen on a boat in the Mediterranean off the coast of Italy with Italian actor Andrea Preti. The two were spotted vacationing together in Nerano, a charming village in the Campania region near the famous Amalfi Coast, on Saturday, July 27.
Andrea Preti, 36, is known for his roles in the Italian television series A Professor and the film One More Day. Interestingly, he has a history of dating tennis players, having been romantically involved with Flavia Pennetta in the past. Paparazzi photos from the trip show Preti standing behind Williams, with his hands on her shoulders, and another capturing him whispering in her ear.
Williams wore an olive-green dress and had her hair up in a bun, while Preti sported an unbuttoned white shirt and sunglasses. The last known boyfriend of Venus Williams was millionaire heir Nicholas Hammond. Their relationship reportedly started in 2017 and ended in 2019. Venus confirmed her single status casually at the 2022 Oscars, where the film King Richard, about her childhood and rise to tennis stardom, was nominated in six categories. In a March 2022 Q&A video on her YouTube channel, she reiterated that she was single and shared her thoughts on relationships.
