During Sunday’s game between the Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark and teammate Lexie Hull were featured on the big board and received a warm reception from fans.
Clark, 22, was honored as the WNBA’s Rookie of the Year after putting up impressive stats including averaging 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game. She also shot 41.7 percent from the field and 34.4 percent from three-point range. Despite the Fever’s first-round playoff exit, Clark’s stellar performance was a highlight of the season.
With her rookie year exceeding expectations, Clark is on a path to superstardom that has Fever fans excited for what’s to come.
