At his pre-Draft media availability, Golden State Warriors GM Mike Dunleavy Jr. talked about his crew’s sophisticated offseason. The Warriors try to minimize their tax burden, and to keep away from among the restrictions that include being a second apron crew.
One factor Dunleavy would not need to do is to commerce any of his younger gamers to make that occur. The Warriors GM is not inclined to commerce Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, Brandin Podziemski or Trayce Jackson-Davis.
“All people is making calls proper now, whether or not it is on future draft picks or present gamers,” Dunleavy stated. “All people is attempting to get higher, and so everyone is exploring and asking. It is good that the telephones are ringing and there is curiosity in our guys. That is signal for form of the extent and high quality that they’re at.
“Doesn’t suggest we’re too engaged with it, although.”
Kuminga and Moody are eligible to signal rookie scale extension this summer season. Podziemski and Jackson-Davis are each getting into their second seasons.
