ATLANTA (AP) — Kelsey Mitchell’s 29-point performance helped the Indiana Fever fend off the Dream for an 84-79 win on Monday night.
Atlanta (10-19) put up a strong fight, but Indiana (14-16) managed to secure the win with a five-point possession late in the game.
Aliyah Boston and Damiris Dantas made significant contributions for Indiana, while Tina Charles led Atlanta’s efforts with 21 points.
The game drew a record crowd for Atlanta, with 17,608 fans in attendance.
