Kyrgyzstan’s Myktybek Orolbai recently starred in a viral video placing the MMA fighter into the Mortal Kombat world.

Having debuted in professional MMA in 2018, the Kyrgyzstan fighter has compiled a record of 13-1-1. In the UFC, he has already made an impact with two consecutive wins in the tough lightweight division. Next up, at UFC 308, he is scheduled to fight Mateusz Rębecki from Poland. He is a well-rounded fighter with a wrestling background.
The Kalpak hat he wears is a traditional headwear deeply rooted in Kyrgyz culture, worn mainly by Kyrgyz men. Made from white felt, the Kalpak holds great symbolic and cultural importance. It represents the snowy peaks of the Tian Shan Mountains and embodies the Kyrgyz people’s connection to nature. The four sides of the Kalpak symbolize the four elements: air, water, earth, and fire.

In a viral clip, Myktybek Orolbai sported merchandise from Full Violence and appeared as various fighters in the classic 2D video game Mortal Kombat. MMA enthusiasts were impressed, and the video has garnered nearly 200,000 views.
