Indiana went 1-for-2 on the recruiting trail this week with two of the top three prospects on its 2025 recruiting board.
On Monday, the Hoosiers earned a commitment from Indiana native and Montverde Academy (Fla.) forward Trent Sisley. The 6-foot-7 forward became the first IU commitment in the 2025 class.
The news wasn’t good for IU on Wednesday, however. Longtime target Jalen Haralson, a 6-foot-7 guard, chose Notre Dame over the Hoosiers and Michigan State.
Here’s a look at the remaining prospects on the 2025 radar for IU and where things stand with each player.
Braylon Mullins
The 6-foot-5 guard from Greenfield-Central has been a top target for the Indiana coaching staff for over a year. The Hoosiers were one of the first high-major programs to offer Mullins a scholarship and have recruited him as diligently as any program.
Mullins made headlines earlier this week when he trimmed his list of finalists to three: Indiana, UConn and North Carolina.
He’s already visited all three schools officially. Mullins told Joe Tipton of On3 that he’ll announce his college choice sometime in October.
While losing Haralson was a setback, Mullins fills a more significant need on the roster in the future. He’s an elite shooter and has shown rapid improvement over the last year, rising to five-star status in the recruiting rankings.
It would also make a statement if the Hoosiers prevail in a recruiting battle that included nearly every blueblood program in the country at one point.
Eric Reibe
The 7-footer, originally from Germany, is now at The Bullis School just outside of Washington, D.C.
The Hoosiers staff has already visited Reibe at his school this fall and hosted him for an official visit on the same weekend with Sisley and Mullins.
Indiana will reportedly have a coach in to see Reibe today as well.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Reibe is the No. 33 player nationally. The primary schools involved for Reibe appear to be Creighton, Indiana, Kansas, and UConn. He is also scheduled to visit Oregon early next month.
Indiana should have plenty of minutes to offer in the frontcourt next season following the graduation of Oumar Ballo. Still, it will have to win a heavyweight battle to prevail in Reibe’s recruitment.
Mikel Brown Jr.
A five-star point guard who played at Overtime Elite last season and is now at DME Academy in Florida, Brown was on campus earlier this month for an official visit.
Most recently, Brown was on campus at Louisville and a trip to Kentucky is upcoming this weekend.
The competition for Brown, the No. 11 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite, has no shortage of schools.
He’s previously taken official visits to Alabama, Ole Miss and Providence and is still scheduled to see Arizona, Central Florida and Maryland.
With no clear timetable for a decision and a long list of suitors, this recruitment could take some time to play out.
Bryson Tiller
Tiller, the No. 16 player in the country according to the 247Sports Composite, was on IU’s campus last season for an official visit. He saw the Hoosiers battle Kansas at Assembly Hall.
The 6-foot-9 power forward from Overtime Elite recently visited Auburn and Georgia Tech.
Kansas is also heavily involved in Tiller’s recruitment.
Earlier this week, Tiller conducted a workout at Overtime Elite, which was attended by Bill Self, Bruce Pearl and Damon Stoudamire.
Nate Ament
The No. 4 player nationally in the 2025 class, Ament is a versatile 6-foot-9 forward who can guard multiple positions and score from all over the floor.
The Indiana coaching staff visited him earlier this month at the Highland School in Warrenton, Virginia.
To this point, Ament has not been on campus at IU for a visit. He’s scheduled to visit Texas this weekend.
He’s a priority recruit for Duke and Virginia and has offers from Kentucky, North Carolina, Louisville, Georgetown, UConn, Kansas, Kansas State and several other schools.
