Following the WNBA Draft lottery, the focus now shifts to the Golden State Valkyries as they prepare to shape their roster at the WNBA expansion draft.
The Valkyries will have the opportunity to select players from a pool of available athletes currently on the rosters of the other 12 WNBA teams. Each team can protect up to six players, leaving the rest vulnerable to being chosen by Golden State.
The Valkyries are limited to picking one player from each of the 12 teams. Even unsigned players for the 2025 season can be acquired by Golden State.
