Senior Tribute Video  | Banquet Video Recap

WALLA WALLA, Wash.

 – The Whitman College Athletics department welcomed the Class of 2025 to a time-honored tradition and held its annual Senior Awards Ceremony Thursday night in the Reid Campus Center Ballroom. 
 
After a pre-ceremony reception the official program commenced with a welcome by Athletics Director Kim Chandler who gave opening remarks, the awards were presented along with a senior tribute video produced by Whitman Athletics Sports Communications. A listing of the awards are as follows:

Bob Thomsen Award – Christiane Carlisle, women’s basketball; Carly Martin, women’s basketball; Natalie Lundberg, women’s basketball; Gabe Latkovich, Men’s Basketball ; Aidan Von Buchwaldt, Men’s Basketball; Eliza Daigle, women’s lacrosse; Taylor Hebert, women’s lacrosse; Cameron Yang, men’s tennis; Ella Schneider, women’s soccer; Noah Baker, men’s tennis; Parker Krovisky, men’s golf; Ellis Pryor, men’s cross country; Ally Kim, women’s cross country; Frances Lenz, women’s swimming; Brandon Ting, baseball; Jack Bickerton, baseball
 

Bleeding Blue and Gold award – Hali Lindgren, women’s lacrosse; Luca Viarengo, men’s tennis; Zachary Stonier, men’s soccer; Molly Beaulieu, women’s soccer; Nik Greb, baseball; Brayden Tagomori, baseball
 

Unsung Hero Award – Lindsay Drango, women’s basketball; Alex Pape, men’s basketball; Olivia Banuelos, women’s lacrosse; Maia Wolverton, women’s lacrosse; Braeden Thomas, men’s tennis; Alejandro Raffo, men’s tennis; Oliver Dickson, men’s soccer; Arianna Castellanos, women’s tennis; Ella Schneider, women’s soccer; Beatrice Archer, women’s golf; Lucy Hennessy, women’s cross country; Maleda Sims, women’s cross country; Jonathan Grothe, men’s cross country; Gwen Empie, women’s swimming; Carter Sundin, men’s swimming
 

Max Seachris and Lee Coleman Awards – The awards are given annually to the most outstanding senior performer on a men’s team and women’s team.

Max Seachris Nominees: Jacob Burrill, men’s soccer; Sawyer Valero, men’s soccer; Parker Krovisky, men’s golf; Lucas Huang, men’s tennis; Reilly McVay, men’s cross country/distance track; Brandon Ting, baseball; Jack Bickerton, baseball; Isaiah Amato, men’s basketball
Winner: Jacob Burrill, men’s soccer

Lee Coleman Nominees: Teleya Blunt, women’s tennis; Carly Martin, women’s basketball; Natalie Lundberg, women’s basketball; Gracie Maulik, women’s lacrosse; Eliza Daigle, women’s lacrosse; Virginia Hunt, women’s soccer; Molly Beaulieu, women’s soccer, Jin Yu, women’s tennis; Josephine Piel, women’s swimming 
Winner: Teleya Blunt, women’s tennis
 

Presidents Award – Awarded to the senior who has the highest cumulative grade-point average through seven semesters of college work. Athlete must have competed for the entire four years of school. This year we had four individuals with 4.0 grade point averages. Dori Buttleman, women’s cross country/distance track; Eliza Daigle, women’s lacrosse; John Leeds, men’s swimming; Natalie Lundberg, women’s basketball

R.V. Borleske Award – Awarded to the senior, who participated on a men’s team, by recognizing career athletic ability and accomplishments, leadership and sportsmanship qualities and contributions to the campus and community as a whole. The highest award given to a Whitman College student-athlete.

R.V. Borleske Nominees: Nate Korahais, baseball; Jacob Burrill, men’s soccer; Cameron Yang, men’s tennis; Alexander Knox, men’s golf; Noah Baker, men’s tennis; John Leeds, men’s swimming
Winner: Nate Korahais, baseball
 

Mignon Borleske Award – Awarded to the senior, who participated on a women’s team, by recognizing career athletic ability and accomplishments, leadership and sportsmanship qualities and contributions to the campus and community as a whole. The highest award given to a Whitman College student-athlete.

Mignon Borleske Nominees: Korin Baker, women’s basketball; Natalie Lundberg, women’s basketball; Gracie Maulik, women’s lacrosse; Eliza Daigle; women’s lacrosse; Ilina Jha, women’s tennis; Katya Kurkoski, women’s golf; Shaye Agnew, women’s swimming; Dori Buttleman, women’s cross country/distance track; 
Winner: Korin Baker, women’s basketball
