Who Is WNBA Star, Caitlin Clark’s Boyfriend? Meet Connor McCaffery, A Former Iowa Hawkeyes Player

Caitlin Clark is one of the most renowned American professional basketball players. If reports are true, she started playing at age 5 and continued throughout high school. After receiving offers from both Iowa State and Notre Dame, Caitlin went with the former, starting her freshman season as a point guard in 2020. It is worth noting that she was named the national female college basketball player of the year twice while playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes.  

Coming to Caitlin Clark’s professional career, she was selected by the Indiana Fever as their first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft. While she continues to play for Indiana, Caitlin hasn’t forgotten her teammates from her iconic college career with the Iowa Hawkeyes. One of the players whom she often shared the court with at the time was guard, Gabbie Marshall. For those unaware, Gabbie recently announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend, Spencer Touro. Supporting her former teammate, Clark was quick to write enthusiastic messages in the comment section like “LETSSSSS RAGEEEE,” followed by a “CONGRATS SISTA.” Well, this did not go unnoticed by fans, and they have now begun to wonder about who Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, is.  

At the time, congratulating her boyfriend on the big news, Caitlin Clark wrote, “Yayyy!!! So happy for you.” A year later, in March 2025, Caitlin was seen supporting Connor once again. She was there on the sidelines during the Butler Bulldogs game in the quarterfinals of the Big East Tournament, which was held in New York City. Although Connor’s team at the time lost 78-57 to St John’s Red Storm.
