One of the most famous figures in the basketball world, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, attended Wisconsin basketball’s 83-74 win over Butler on Saturday.
Clark watched the action at Gainbridge Fieldhouse with Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton.
Wisconsin’s victory was fueled by big performances from Steven Crowl and Nolan Winter, who combined for 38 points and 14 rebounds. Despite struggling with their shooting, especially from three-point range (24%), the Badgers were able to secure the win.
Greg Gard’s team excelled at the free-throw line, shooting 92.6% and gaining 30% of their total offensive production from there.
The game saw a high number of fouls and free throw attempts, with both teams struggling with their long-range shooting in the neutral-site matchup. Wisconsin’s success in scoring inside and hitting free throws ultimately determined the outcome.
