The Washington Wizards have waived guard Erik Stevenson. The Wizards signed forward Mouhamadou Gueye to an Exhibit 10 contract to bring their roster to the preseason maximum of 21 players.
Both Gueye and Stevenson are expected to play for the Capital City Go-Go this upcoming G League season.
Gueye saw limited action in 11 NBA games while with the Toronto Raptors last season. In 39 G League games with Raptors 905, the 6-foot-9 forward averaged 14.2 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game.
