The WNBA secured a new sponsorship deal this week with DraftKings, becoming its official sports betting partner.
This partnership grants DraftKings rights to the league’s intellectual property and team data for use in sports betting and daily fantasy. Additionally, DraftKings will be the presenting sponsor for the WNBA’s new content platform launching in September, focusing on the playoff race.
Furthermore, the WNBA also has a partnership with FanDuel as its official betting partner, similar to the NBA’s official partnerships.
“The WNBA has seen tremendous growth, which continues to be a bright spot in the sports world. We are proud to support the league in its efforts to continue expanding the game,” DraftKings president Matt Kalish said.
