Exciting game in the Windy City! With less than five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter of the Las Vegas Aces vs Chicago Sky game on Sunday, Kelsey Plum’s 3-pointer gave the Aces a 13-point lead, seemingly securing a victory over the Sky.
However, the home team had other plans. Lindsay Allen and Chennedy Carter hit back-to-back 3-pointers, cutting the Aces’ lead to three points with 37 seconds left. After a missed possession by the Aces, Carter made a deep 3-pointer, bringing the crowd to their feet. But A’ja Wilson had the final say. A well-executed play by head coach Becky Hammon saw Chelsea Gray find Wilson for a layup at the buzzer, sealing the Aces’ 77-75 victory.
