Reebok has become an official footwear supplier for the WNBA, as the sportswear brand and league have announced a multi-year partnership.
Reebok aims to create inspiring and engaging content that brings fans closer to the game through features of Reebok athletes Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky and Lexie Brown of the Los Angeles Sparks. Reese shared her thoughts on the partnership:
Reebok has been an amazing partner and advocate for women in sport. As strong female athletes, we can use our platform to set an example for young players. I’m thrilled to see the WNBA and Reebok supporting each other, as together we are stronger and can reach further.
Reese was the first athlete signed by a rejuvenated Reebok, selected by Shaquille O’Neal and Allen Iverson shortly after they took on executive roles in the brand’s basketball division. She introduced the “Reebok by Angel” collection over the summer, unveiled the “Engine A” performance basketball shoe, and will launch a signature shoe in 2026. Reese is also the face of the brand’s new ad campaign, “Sport is Everything.”
Regarding extending Reebok’s reach beyond Reese and into the league, O’Neal, Reebok Basketball President, stated:
It’s an exciting time for Reebok, the WNBA, and basketball as a whole. Reebok has always been dedicated to supporting the sport’s growth, and now with a solid plan, the right resources, and the welcoming atmosphere of the WNBA, we’re ready to dive in with everything from products to players and more.
Echoing O’Neal’s sentiments, Colie Edison, WNBA Chief Executive Growth Officer, emphasized:
The WNBA is continuously growing with iconic brands, and we are excited to have Reebok join us in elevating women’s basketball and inspiring the next generation. As we build on increased brand awareness, our collaboration with Reebok is another step in attracting more fans to the game.
