The 2024 WNBA All-Star Game is set to begin at 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, July 20 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, AZ (ABC). The game will feature the 12 WNBA All-Stars facing off against Team USA, which also consists of 12 members.

TEAM WNBA: DeWanna Bonner (Connecticut Sun), Aliyah Boston (Indiana Fever), Caitlin Clark (Indiana Fever), Allisha Gray (Atlanta Dream), Dearica Hamby (Los Angeles Sparks), Brionna Jones (Connecticut Sun), Jonquel Jones (New York Liberty), Kayla McBride (Minnesota Lynx), Kelsey Mitchell (Indiana Fever), Arike Ogunbowale (Dallas Wings), Nneka Ogwumike (Seattle Storm), Angel Reese (Chicago Sky)

TEAM USA: Napheesa Collier (Minnesota Lynx), Kahleah Copper (Phoenix Mercury), Chelsea Gray (Las Vegas Aces), Brittney Griner (Phoenix Mercury), Sabrina Ionescu (New York Liberty), Jewell Loyd (Seattle Storm), Kelsey Plum (Las Vegas Aces), Breanna Stewart (New York Liberty), Dianna Taurasi (Phoenix Mercury), Alyssa Thomas (Connecticut Sun), A’ja Wilson (Las Vegas Aces), Jackie Young (Las Vegas Aces)

In 2021, the WNBA All-Stars defeated the USA Basketball Women’s National Team with MVP Arike Ogunbowale scoring 26 points and Jonquel Jones adding a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds. Ogunbowale and Jones are once again playing for the All-Stars in 2024.

Ogunbowale decided to withdraw from consideration for the Olympic team, expressing frustration with the selection process. Players like Nneka Ogwumike and Caitlin Clark are also looking to prove themselves against Team USA.

Rookies like Angel Reese and veterans like DeWanna Bonner and Allisha Gray are expected to bring their A-game against Team USA. With a talented roster, the All-Stars have the potential to defeat the Olympians once again.

The game could be a close contest, with both teams hoping for a strong performance. Players like A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, and Chelsea Gray are expected to shine for Team USA, while Cheryl Miller will lead Team WNBA.

As the game unfolds, the closing lineup for each team will be crucial. Team USA has standout players like Wilson, Stewart, and Gray, with tough decisions to make regarding the rest of the lineup.

Cheryl Miller, coaching Team WNBA, will face the challenge of leading her team to victory against the Olympians. The matchup between All-Stars and Olympians promises to be an exciting one for basketball fans.

Overall, the game between Team WNBA and Team USA offers a thrilling competition for fans to enjoy.
