The upcoming fourth season of Athletes Unlimited Basketball in Nashville will see the arrival of new faces, including forward Alysha Clark, a three-time WNBA champion. Clark recently concluded her 12th season in the league, her second with the Las Vegas Aces. She was originally drafted by the San Antonio Silver Stars (now the Aces) in the second round of the 2010 WNBA Draft.
Clark’s impressive accolades include being named to the WNBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2019 and the All-Defensive First Team in 2020. She also topped the league in 3-point field goal percentage in 2019 (.481) and 2020 (.522), as well as winning the Sixth Player of the Year award in 2023. Returning to Athletes Unlimited Basketball will be a special homecoming for Clark.
After graduating from Mount Juliet High School in Wilson County, Tennessee, Clark played basketball at Belmont University in Nashville and Middle Tennessee State in Murfreesboro. During her college years, she received multiple awards, including being a two-time Associated Press All-American and two-time Atlantic Sun and Sun Belt Player of the Year. Clark holds the all-time points per game records for both Belmont and Middle Tennessee State WBB.
Joining Clark for Athletes Unlimited Basketball in 2025
Joining Clark in Nashville will be forward Jordan Horston, Victaria Saxton, and guards Kia Nurse and Bria Hartley. Horston recently completed her second season with the Seattle Storm in the WNBA, earning a spot on the All-Rookie team in 2023.
Saxton just finished her second season with the Indiana Fever, showcasing her shooting skills beyond the arc. Nurse concluded her sixth season in the league, playing for the Los Angeles Sparks and making significant contributions on the court. Hartley, a seasoned W player, will be making her return to the league after her last appearance in 2022.
With the addition of these talented players, the competition level for Athletes Unlimited Basketball in Nashville will be even higher. It will be exciting to see who emerges as the champion in the Music City next February.
