The WNBA has made a return, and in just three days, we’ve seen some exciting developments.
Both the Atlanta Dream and Connecticut Sun secured wins in their comeback games. The Dream had a nail-biting victory over the Seattle Storm, with Tina Charles sealing the win with a clutch shot. Despite being the underdogs in the playoff race, the Dream showed great resilience and determination in their comeback win.
The Sun, with championship aspirations, showcased their strength in a dominating win over the Dallas Wings. Newcomer Marina Mabrey impressed in her debut, while rookies Caitlin Bickle and Celeste Taylor provided depth to the team. The Sun look to be a strong contender this season.
Can the Fever weather the Storm with momentum, motivation?
After a close loss to the Dream, the Storm will be looking to bounce back against the Indiana Fever. The Fever, led by Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell, showed great shooting skills in their recent win over the Phoenix Mercury. Despite being the underdogs, the Fever seem to be on the rise.
The Storm may have the advantage in experience and roster strength, but the Fever have the motivation to prove themselves. With three players overlooked for the Olympic team, the Fever will be looking to upset the Storm and secure a statement win.
