WNBA Finals Game 2 photos from Liberty’s huge bounce back win

Game 2 of the WNBA Finals was exactly what the Liberty needed to get back on track.

Following a chaotic end to Game 1, New York found itself in a familiar position as the Minnesota Lynx wiped out a 16-point lead, reducing it to just two points. Minnesota stayed within striking distance for several minutes, likely causing some unease among fans at the venue.

However, as the fourth quarter progressed, a five-minute scoring drought for the Lynx and a huge effort from Betnijah Laney-Hamilton, Sabrina Ionescu, and Breanna Stewart – cheers to Stewie’s seven steals! – helped widen the Liberty’s lead. Then, a game-clinching 3-point shot from rookie Leonie Fiebich sealed the deal and evened the series at 1-1.

Game 2 of the WNBA Finals was exactly what the Liberty needed to get back on track.
