WNBA legend Lisa Leslie shared her admiration for Jordan Chiles’s outstanding performance at the final session of the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad in Oklahoma City. ESPN’s Instagram account posted a video of Chiles, and Leslie expressed her praise in the comments section.
“A Perfect 10❤️❤️❤️❤️” Leslie commented.
In the video, Chiles performs her routine with Prince’s music playing in the background, scoring a 9.975 for her performance.
After her exceptional performance, Chiles dedicated her win to the people of Los Angeles and showed support for those affected by the wildfires.
“To every single person in LA, we love you guys. Thank you guys so much for supporting us,” Chiles said. “We want to support you in every way, shape or form. We’re praying, we love you guys.”
Jordan Chiles gained attention after the 2024 Paris Olympics where she initially won a bronze medal in the women’s floor exercise event for the UCLA gymnastics team. However, her medal was later awarded to Romanian gymnast Ana Bărbosu following an appeal by the Romanian federation challenging the revision of Chiles’s final score.
