WNBA star Caitlin Clark is taking some time off due to the Olympics (despite a strong case for her being on the roster that flowed in Paris), so she’s enjoying some rest and relaxation after the WNBA All-Star Game with her teammate Lexie Hull.
However, Hull experienced an unexpected consequence of their Mexican vacation… not that one.
We all know the other type of side effect that people encounter in Mexico. I remember being very cautious about the water during my visit years ago and spending a lot of time in the bathroom.
But in Hull’s case, it wasn’t the water she drank that caused problems; it was the water she stood in that resulted in a minor issue.
Hull took to TikTok to showcase the surprising green hair she got after spending a few days in the resort pool.
“So I spent the day in a pool and I have a photoshoot in LA tomorrow morning at seven-thirty,” Hull said, pointing to her green locks. “My hair is literally green.”
That was definitely a bright green color. Literally.
On a side note, why hasn’t science figured this out yet? I’ve heard of blond hair turning green in pools my whole life. Why hasn’t a pool chemical company created an alternative that doesn’t lead to green hair? It feels like a product like that could be a hit; anyone with a pool would purchase it.
Nobody wants to come out of a pool looking like Krusty the Clown.
Nevertheless, Hull provided an update on the green hair situation and decided to go through with the photoshoot despite the unexpected appearance.
Hull showed professionalism by proceeding with the photo shoot even when she wasn’t feeling her best.
There may have still been a hint of green, but that’s what Photoshop is for.
