At this point, Steph Curry has no other choice but to start planning his activities for the offseason. The Golden State Warriors were sent on an early summer vacation by the Minnesota Timberwolves following Wednesday’s series-clinching 121-110 victory in Game 5, thereby putting an end to what turned out to be another disappointing campaign for the Warriors.
To make matters worse for Curry, he ended up missing the last four games of the Timberwolves series (the Warriors lost all of them) due to a hamstring injury. As much as he would have wanted to help his team on the court, the former back-to-back MVP had to watch his team lose from the bench.

Curry faced the press on Thursday in the Warriors’ exit interview, and apart from discussing the disappointment of the past season as well as what the future holds for Golden State, the 11-time All-Star also touched on the upcoming debut season of the Golden State Valkyries in the WNBA.

Curry said that he’s a fan and promised to attend “as many games as possible.” The WNBA just had to react to the Warriors superstar’s exciting message.
“See ya in SF @StephenCurry30 🤝” the WNBA posted on X.
The WNBA will be holding Curry to his promise as the Valkyries, which is also owned by the same group that owns the Warriors, are set to embark on their inaugural season in 2025. Curry has offered them his full support and has even committed to heading to Chase Center during the NBA offseason to watch them play in their home games.

The Valkyries kick off their campaign on Friday with a matchup against the Los Angeles Sparks at Chase Center. Based on Curry’s comments here, it would not be a complete surprise if he makes an appearance in the season opener.
