Caitlin Clark is a shooter. However, the Indiana Fever star gave that line a different meaning during the Indiana Pacers’ game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.

Clark, who holds the WNBA record for the second-most 3-pointers in a single season with 122, took on the role of a photographer for the Pacers-Lakers showdown at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

The 24-year-old playmaker certainly impressed with the work she did, with the Fever even saying she “cooked” with the photos she took. Professional photographer Bri Lewerke, who has covered Clark and the Fever over the past couple of years, also called the WNBA superstar a “natural.”

The WNBA couldn’t help but react as well. On Instagram, the league’s social media team shared photos of Clark fulfilling her role as a photographer for the game. The Fever guard was all smiles in most of the pictures, highlighting how much she enjoyed the experience.

One photo also showed Clark looking at Lakers star LeBron James.

“A photographer fit for a King,” the WNBA wrote, clearly referencing James, who goes by the nickname “King James.”

For what it’s worth, taking photos of James was a noteworthy experience for Clark, so much so that she even posted about it on social media.

Right after the game, Clark wrote on her IG Stories, “I got to shoot the king.” Later on, she posted the photos of James she took.

“The KING … Shot by ME,” Clark emphasized in the caption. The post on X has since gone viral, generating over 1.4 million views and over 800 comments within three hours of being posted.
