BELLEAIR, Fla. — Caitlin Clark was serious about her commitment to golf during the offseason.
Clark will be participating in The Annika in November, a prestigious tournament on the LPGA Tour schedule hosted by Annika Sorenstam. She will be playing in the pro-am and serving as a panelist at the Women’s Leadership Summit at Pelican Golf Club.
As the WNBA rookie of the year, Clark announced after the Indiana Fever’s elimination that she intended to continue playing golf until the weather in Indiana became too cold, playfully mentioning her aspirations to become a professional golfer.
The Women’s Leadership Summit is scheduled for Nov. 12, followed by the pro-am the next day.
“I have a great passion for golf, so the opportunity to participate in the pro-am for a tournament featuring a legendary figure like Annika Sorenstam is truly thrilling,” Clark expressed. “I am excited to watch the LPGA players practice on the driving range, take part in the Women’s Leadership Summit, and, of course, tee off in the pro-am alongside Annika.”
Clark is also an ambassador for Gainbridge, the presenting sponsor of the LPGA event.
