Indiana Fever phenom Caitlin Clark missed the vast majority of the 2025 WNBA season due to nagging lower-body injuries. Fans are looking forward to seeing Clark back on the court for the 2026 season and got a sneak peek during Team USA’s training camp ahead of the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
Unfortunately, there’s a chance that fans will be stuck rewatching the same training camp clips for longer than they’d hope. If the WNBA and WNBAPA cna’t agree to terms on a labor deal by March 10, there’s a chance that the upcoming WNBA season will have to alter its regular season schedule, reducing games, and if the worst comes to pass and no deal is ever agreed upon, there may be no season at all.

Fans reacted on social media to the possibility of seeing less of Caitlin Clark for a second straight season.
“It’s time to get moving wnbpa, stop being greedy and take the deal. Lets play basketball,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“I plan on paying to watch the (the Indiana Fever and Caitlin Clark) for the first time, please play,” someone else pleaded.
“No matter what one way or another there will be a firm answer to if there will be a WNBA season in 2026. I fully believe there will be BTW,” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see how things go between now and March 10.
