The Phoenix Mercury swept the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday. One player that deserves notable mention is Mercury’s Alyssa Thomas, who certainly proved to be an asset for the team. She scored remarkably during the match. With her 7th triple-double, the Mercury player, Alyssa Thomas, has received a noteworthy mention all around the league. She scored 7 points, 15 rebounds, and 15 assists in the game earlier on Tuesday. With such a mind-blowing score, she posed a great threat to her opponents. Alyssa Thomas is leading the league in triple-doubles for the third consecutive season.

Alyssa Thomas wrote history with 7 triple-doubles of the season

This talented WNBA player broke her own single-season record by scoring a 7th triple-double in today’s match. This marked a record-breaking score for the third consecutive season. In the second half of the game, Alyssa Thomas scored 12 points with 16 rebounds and 15 assists. With such brilliance, Alyssa Thomas has proved to be an asset for her team and a posed threat to the opponent. The Los Angeles Sparks lost 92-84 to the Phoenix Mercury earlier on Tuesday. Satou Sabally scored the highest 19 points, and Alyssa Thomas scored another record-breaking triple-double. Her efficiency was witnessed by the entire league, and she made it right at the top of every news outlet.

Last Friday was yet another big day for Mercury’s star Alyssa Thomas as she went on to score her 6th triple-double of the season. Her 16 assists helped her and the team win 81-72 over the Golden State Valkyries. Her fabulous performance impressed the Phoenix Mercury’s head coach, Nate Tibbetts. She said, “I’m just impressed with her focus, her desire, her want to each and every night, I’m happy she finally got the franchise [record] because I think she’s got 15 assists two or three times.” “What she does for us, it’s special and I’m glad she took a chance coming here to Phoenix”, Nate Tibbetts further added. Her performance made a great impact in the league. The 33-year-old forward is a big reason why the Phoenix Mercury holds a fourth place in the league with a 22-14 record. She averaged a career high with 16 points, 9.2 assists, and 8.8 rebounds per game.
