The New York Liberty are still basking in the glory of their recent WNBA championship win. On Thursday, the team took part in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Ellie the Elephant joined in the festivities as well.
In a display of their continued success and popularity, the Liberty participated in yet another parade, this time the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The team’s three-time champion Breanna Stewart, Finals MVP Jonquel Jones, and Finals hero Nyara Sabally paraded through the streets of New York with the championship trophy in hand.
No New York event would be complete without the presence of the sassy Ellie The Elephant. Ellie entertained the crowd with her seafoam rain skirt set and danced joyfully in the streets. It was a sight to behold.
