JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – North Florida head women’s soccer coach Eric Faulconer is excited to announce the addition of Audrey Johnson, a transfer from South Florida. Johnson will be joining the Ospreys’ roster for the 2025 spring season as a redshirt-freshman with four years of eligibility remaining.
After spending her freshman year at the University of South Florida, Johnson returns to the First Coast to play for North Florida. Faulconer expressed his enthusiasm for having a goalkeeper from the local area join the team, praising Johnson’s strong hands, foot skills, and leadership qualities. He looks forward to her joining the UNF family in January.
Johnson, a two-time state high school champion from Ponte Vedra High School, concluded her club soccer career at Florida Elite. She earned multiple accolades during her time at Ponte Vedra, including selections to the Florida Times Union All-First Coast Team, All-St. Johns County team, and News 4 JAX All-Area team.
Recognized as a TopDrawer Soccer 3-star prospect, Johnson also received honors as an ECNL All Southeast Conference Selection in 2022 and 2023. Her impressive performance led to her inclusion in the ODP South Region team and selection for the 2023 ODP National Select Team.
