MORRISVILLE, NY – The Buffalo State women’s soccer team continued their winning ways, with a dominating win over the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs, moving to an early 2-0-0 record in the SUNYAC.

Olivia Kilmer (Hammondsport, NY/Avoca) led the Bengals with her first hat-trick of her career, her second game this season with multiple goals.
Kaylee Valentic (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) contributed for the Bengals, notching a goal and an assist.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bengals came into this game motivated, scoring three goals in the first 12 minutes of the game, two of those coming from Kilmer and the third by Valentic.
As if things couldn’t get worst for the Mustangs, the Bengals would go on to add two more goals from Elle Bush (Middleboro, MA/Middleboro) and Lindsay DePietro (Whitesboro, NY/Whitesboro). This performance would propel the Bengals to a 5-0 lead into halftime.
In the second half, the Bengals would continue their stretch of strong play, leading to Kilmer’s final goal, and completing their impressive 6-1 defeat of the Mustangs. Goalies: Taylor Clisson (Syracuse, NY/Solvay), Liz Flores (Colleyville, TX/Colleyville Heritage), and Sam Kaufman (Cheektowaga, NY/West Seneca East) all tailed saves in net.
The Bengals outshot the Mustangs 27 to eight, with 16 total shots on goal.

Callie Lafontaine scored a goal for the Mustangs, leading the team with three shots on goal.
Kayle Roberts completed a full game for the Mustangs with ten total saves in net.
