BROCKPORT, NY – The Buffalo State women’s soccer team suffered their first road loss of the 2024 campaign, with 2-0 lost against SUNY Brockport today on A. Huntley Parker Jr. Field.

INSIDE THE BENGAL BOX SCORE
Lorelei Right (Colchester, VT/Colchester) led the way for the Bengals with three total shots, with two of the shots on goal.
Addy Williams (Grapevine, TX/ Grapevine) provided the Bengals with solid goaltender play, as she led both teams with an astounding ten saves in between the net, which was one shy of her career high.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Buffalo State got out to a hot start, leading the game with two shots on net but Brockport shifted the momentum and took the lead within the first 20 minutes of play.
The Bengals would continue the fight with solid team play and went into halftime only down a goal.
As the second half began, the Bengals would continue to push the Golden Eagles, but as fulltime came near, the Golden Eagles netted the game-sealing goal in the 81st minute.
The Bengals were outshot by the Golden Eagles 18 to 8, with only five shots on net for the Bengals and the Golden Eagles 12.
FOR THE FOES
Amelia Breton led the Golden Eagles with five total shots, with Megan Gerber and McKenna Slate netting goals apiece.
Madeline McCrosson carried the Golden Eagles with a full-game shutout, making five saves.

The Bengals will return home Saturday, as the finale of triple-slate athletic day as they take on the University of Rochester at 7:00 pm in a non-conference tilt.
