NASHVILLE, Tenn. – North Florida Women’s Soccer historic ASUN Championship run comes to a close after falling, 3-0, to Lipscomb in the ASUN Championship Final on Sunday afternoon at the Lipscomb Soccer Complex.
UNF ends the 2025 season with a 9-9-4 record and their first ASUN Championship Final appearance in program history.
Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Chrissa Avery secured five saves in the opening 20 minutes of play before Lipscomb broke through with a goal during the 21st minute to go up 1-0.
Avery would go on to set a career-high with 10 saves, seven of which were in the first half of play.
The Bison would add to their lead with goals during the 41st minute and 79th minute.
The Ospreys fired off a pair of shots on goal during the 55th and 59th minute but were unable to convert.
In total, 19 Ospreys saw action, with midfielder Zoe Looker, senior defender Brialyn Anderson, redshirt junior forward/midfielder Isabella Pontieri and Avery each logging the full 90 minutes.
