The Kalamazoo College women’s cross country team was highlighted in the department’s second edition of Team Tuesday recognition for the 2023-24 season.
Finishing the 2023 season with a record of 8-6-3, the Hornets had a 5-2-1 conference finish. They achieved five shutout wins and three wins conceding only one goal in each game. This resulted in a third-place finish in the MIAA and hosting an MIAA Tournament first-round game. This was the best performance for women’s soccer since 2019 when they also finished third. The Hornets outscored their opponents 28-23, with Elle Bernas leading the charge with seven goals.
