KANSAS CITY, Mo. | United Soccer Coaches – McKendree University women’s soccer continued to rise in the national rankings, jumping six places to No.18 in the latest USC Division II poll after a 3-0-0 week, which saw two true road wins and a home-opening victory. The Bearcats sit 5-0-0 on the season overall while starting off Great Lakes Valley Conference play with a 3-2 victory at Rockhurst, avenging its loss to the Hawks in KC last year. McKendree remains the sole GLVC squad in the national rankings for the second-straight week after entering the poll following the first week of regular season action. The now-18th ranked Bearcats hit the road, once again, to continue GLVC play with bouts at William Jewell on September 20 and at Truman State on September 22.
