JACKSONVILLE – North Florida women’s soccer had six student-athletes receive All-Atlantic Sun Conference honors, with Zara Siassi, Paige McSwigan, Bella Pontieri, Amanda Hartmann, Sofia Miliancano, and Sarah Frazer all recognized by the league. Siassi was named Defender of the Year and also received First-Team and All-Academic awards after a record-breaking season. McSwigan, Pontieri, and Hartmann earned Second-Team honors, while Miliancano was recognized on the Third Team and Frazer received All-Freshman team honors.
Siassi earned her third all-league selection and second All-Academic honor, while Hartmann, Pontieri, Miliancano, and Frazer received their first-ever conference awards. North Florida’s six all-league selections in a single season are the most in the program’s DI era.
Head coach Eric Faulconer commented, “It is always a great honor to be selected by the coaches of the ASUN for postseason recognition. I am very happy for our student-athletes that were named to the ASUN All-Conference, All-Freshmen, and All-Academic teams. They are all very deserving and have been instrumental in our success this season.”
