The highly anticipated War Within Pre-Patch is set to make its debut before the end of July, much to the excitement of players who have been eagerly awaiting its release. Fortunately, those involved in the Beta program have been able to preview and test out the upcoming content.
With the imminent arrival of the War Within expansion, attention now turns to the Pre-Patch event. Scheduled to launch sometime in July, this limited-time event is expected to be available for approximately one month.
War Within Pre-Patch Release Date
Update: Before July 30th
While an exact release date has not been officially confirmed, it is certain that the Pre-Patch will be rolled out before the end of July. Players can expect to have around four weeks to explore and experience the content. As Beta access has been expanded to those with the Epic Edition, it is likely that the Pre-Patch will be made available once Blizzard feels the majority of players have had a chance to participate in the Beta.
If we were to speculate, a potential release date could be around July 16th, allowing for ample testing on the Beta before the official launch. Additionally, releasing the Pre-Patch more than 30 days ahead of the War Within expansion provides Blizzard with an additional month of subscription revenue.
