Top Rank has recruited some of the most talented up-and-coming boxers over the last couple of years with Rohan Polanco, Julius Ballo and Juanmita López De Jesús among others. The promotional giant has now announced their latest signing, with the dangerous Dominican puncher Yan “Dangerous” Santana (13-0, 12 KOs) inking a co-promotional deal, which will see Top Rank collaborate with Miguel Cotto Promotions.

Exciting 25-year-old puncher Yan “Dangerous” Santana is quickly making a name for himself in the featherweight division. Now, with a deal signed with Top Rank, he will gain the exposure needed to take his career to the next level.
The Dominican will return to the ring on March 29 on the Mikaela Mayer-Sandy Ryan II undercard against an opponent to be named.
The Dominican fighter has received high praise from Bob Arum: “Yan Santana is a sensational talent who is well on his way to becoming a dominant presence in the featherweight division and beyond,” said the Top Rank chairman.

“I look forward to working with Miguel Cotto and his team to help guide Yan to the championship level. He has everything it takes to become a Dominican boxing legend.”
Yan Santana Reacts
Santana has reacted to inking the co-promotional deal: “I am grateful to God and my team for giving me the opportunityto show my talent to the world. I have what it takes to become a world champion. Soon, everyone will know who ‘Dangerous’ Santana is.”
Héctor H. Soto, President of Miguel Cotto Promotions also expressed his pleasure at the deal, while praising Santana: “Yan Santana is a special fighter. Since we discovered him in 2022, we have not doubted his abilities and the great potential he has to become a world champion.”

“Without a doubt, he is the most important prospect in the Dominican Republic, and now our alliance with Top Rank makes him one of the most important prospects in the featherweight division,” added Soto.
Santana will be looking to work his way up the featherweight rankings following the signing of this deal.
