WNBA star Angel Reese teased her Unrivaled teammate, Kahleah Copper, about her age in a playful exchange on Friday. Despite the small age gap between them, Reese jokingly called Copper “grandma” for not participating in her TikTok video.
Reese mentioned that Copper refused to join her in a new TikTok video she recorded. She showcased her dance moves on TikTok while Copper filmed, playfully referring to her as “grandma” afterward.
30-year-old Copper joked that she would be the one assisting her younger teammates in making TikTok videos. Both players are set to compete for Rose BC in the inaugural season of the Unrivaled League, a 3-on-3 women’s basketball league starting on Jan. 17 in Miami, Florida.
The league, co-owned by WNBA stars Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, will feature top players like Reese and Copper.
