Connecticut Sun DiJonai Carrington turned a lot of heads with her outfit ahead of the Mist BC duel against Phantom on Jan. 24. The veteran shared two pictures posing for the camera, but behind the seemingly innocent post, she shared a message that raised plenty of eyebrows in the comments.

Carrington wore black soft pants and a top while carrying a black bag with white details and sunglasses. She also picked a black hoodie showing a promotional photo of rapper YG’s “F**k Donald Trump Tour.” The Sun star added a telling message to confirm her support for that message.

“what my hoodie says,” Carrington tweeted Friday.

It didn’t take long for fans to react to the post, with some praising her ability to strike a nerve with certain people.

“You specialize in stirring the other side of America up and I LOVE IT 👏🏾👏🏾🤣🤣🤣 Not all heroes wear capes,” one fan said.

“we see you .. we appreciate you .. respect to you and .. continue to move in ya purpose !” another fan said.

Even though a couple of people were critics of her outfit selection, the vast majority agreed with DiJonai Carrington and somebody even said they became fans after she sported that hoodie.

“still in yall feelings about kamala losin 😂🤡,” one fan said.

“Dijonai Carrington you have made a fan outta me.😭😭” another fan said.

DiJonai Carrington out for Mist BC’s game against Phantom

Mist BC will be without two of its best players for tonight’s game against Phantom. DiJonai Carrington and Jewell Loyd were ruled out for the first matchup of Week 2 of the 2025 season due to leg issues. In response, Mist signed NaLyssa Smith, Carrington’s girlfriend to a relief player contract.

After going winless in the first week of competition, Mist needs a victory or the picture will look more complex. They lost the regular season opener to Lunar Owls 84-80 before the Laces crushed them with a 63-43 win on Jan. 20.

DiJonai Carrington averaged 5.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game during the first week, adding 2.0 steals and 1.0 block per game. After tonight’s game, Mist will resume play on Saturday against Rose BC, although it’s unclear whether Carrington and Loyd will be available.
