This past week, with the Tennessee Titans coming to town, I asked the following questions-
If you could steal any player from the Tennessee Titans roster to place on the Miami Dolphins roster, which player would it be and why?
Below are some of your comments and answers-
Bill Moody is in full cut-and-paste mode…
Their best O-Lineman. (this will be my answer every week).
Mr.Grinch is no fan of Grier.
Their GM,…anybody has to be better than Grier
21Dave is going all defense, wanting to snag an OLB, a DT, and a CB.
Landry, Simmons and Snead.
SlayerNation1 seems a little agitated. Not sure if it’s my question or the team but thanks for the advice all the same!?!
You can dispense with posing this question every week. It is now obvious, no matter what player is brought in, He will become a shell of himself.
The soft, emotionally fragile, player run culture is just too powerful to overcome under this current construct. I would be leery of any player coming in of their own volition. It is an indication they want a paid extended vacation.
It’s a failed experiment. This is professional football, not a Silicon Valley tech company.
“we give our employees unlimited PTO. You decide when you want to work or not work. Make your own schedule. Bring your emotional support ocelot to work”.
Alpha6 is not from Boston!
Hate to sound like a Bostonian but, Qwuathback!
daytonadolfan would like to second Alpha’s idea and is also not from Boston.
Hate to sound like an echo chamber but , QB?
A) What will be the final score in this week’s Miami Dolphins game against the Tennessee Titans?
B) What other predictions do you have for the upcoming game against the Titans? (stars of the game, etc.)
Below are your thoughts and answers to the two other questions that I asked this past week-
USMCFinzFreak has Miami getting blown out.
Tenn 31 Mia 10.
darryldunphy is with USMCFinzFreak. It’s not the same score, but sadly, it’s the same outcome.
Tenn 24 Mia 9..No reason at all to think we turn it around this week
tpl sees things going south again. I see a trend here.
TEN 31 – 3. MM continues calling plays as if Tua was playing.
daytonadolfan is a bit more upbeat but still sees another loss.
20-17, defense keeps us in it, and last minute field goal by Sanders seals it for the fins!
SlayerNation1 predicts a loss either way but gives Miami a better shot if Huntley is the starter.
Boyd: TEN 27-MIA 9
Huntley: TEN 20- MIA 16
Team once again is listless, ill prepared and primetime-phobic. More injuries due to players trying their hardest to not get injured.
ESPN sends college interns from Syracuse to call this secondary MNF game, limited camera angles.
Maybe, ESPN does a trial of A.I. commentary of a live game, no announcers.
MiMiami sees a loss, although closer than most are predicting.
What is your final score prediction win or lose? 23 – 17
Who do you think will be the star(s) of the game on offense? Will Levis turns it around and throws for 1 TD, no TOs. Tony Pollard runs all over Miami. Durham Smythe gets his 4th career TD in six years.
Who do you think will be the star(s) of the game on defense? Ramsey continues to shut everyone down. T’Vondre Sweat dominates the Miami O-Line.
What other bold prediction do you have for this week’s game? We start talking about another great reset and giving MiMiami credit to the thought.
What will you be watching for that no one else seems to be discussing? The other MNF game because that is a game NFL fans deserve.
Louie the lobster is bringing the positivity by predicting a Phins win. Let’s hope so!!!
20-17 Dolphins
Wishful thinking. Big test for MM. He needs to change his ways and adjust his offense to the skill level of whomever he puts as QB1.
phinette is in agreement with Louie.
Dolphins 20-17
Huntley throws for one score and we get the other on the ground. I think we’ll have a good day running the ball.
Alpha6 also sees a win for the home team.
I see, in my crystal-ball… 21 Dolphins, 18 Titans. Titans run out of time to tie it up.
Bill Moody has the Phins defense shutting the Titans down.
17 – 3 Miami wins. Miami D has 2 touchdowns.
Brickley says the defense will score for the first time this season.
Dolphins get their first defensive TD of the year with a pick 6 and pull off the upset, 20-17
Tua2HillWaddle has the Dolphins rushing their way to a victory.
Jsutton15#2 is just, in general, not happy with what the team is doing.
I see us getting our ass kicked again. I have never seen such dysfunction. When you can’t even get the play call in time to not have a penalty or have to call time outs to prevent them. This has been going on for three years and it still isn’t fixed. I coach football for a living. I had a problem with this for one game. I then looked at myself and said no more. It’s really that simple. A lot of it is watching the play going on when you should be using that time for the next. Sometimes you just have a list of plays you just throw out fast. I really don’t like head coaches calling plays. It’s better When you have coordinators with at least assist 2 assisting him to make sure it all gets s out on time.
Alley Gator sees a loss due to a lack of talent at QB for the Phins.
It depends on which QB they start. Huntley with a limited playbook, Thompson with a limited talent, or Boyle with limited both.
Titans run up the gut all day so Levis doesn’t have a chance to make a bonehead move for the fourth game in a row. Dolphins lose because all three QB’s are worse than Levis, if that’s even possible.
finfanfromsiam says this game is going to hurt!
Predicting pain……for us…..!
Jptapt believes that we will all be disappointed.
I predict disappointment.
Well, that was a mix of positivity and sadness, which I expect and understand. Like the positive people I want to believe, I am also well-seasoned in being let down by my dolphins for so very long. Thank you, as always, to those of you who both take the time to read the posts and answer our questions of the day.
