Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to stateside this evening (Sat., Aug. 10, 2024) with UFC Vegas 95. The mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which took place inside UFC APEX in Enterprise, Nevada, was streamed LIVE on ESPN and ESPN+. The main event was a much anticipated rematch between Marcin Tybura vs. Serghei Spivac in the Heavyweight division. That, frankly, below par headliner spoke volumes of the event itself, which had just 10 fights and featured some fighters that even the most diehard fans had probably never heard of.
The fights on the main card included Chris Gutierrez vs. Quang Le, Damon Jackson vs. Chepe Mariscal, Toshioma Kazama vs. Charalampos Grigoriou, Danny Barlow vs. Nikolay Veretennikov and Yana Santos vs. Chelsea Chandler.
The “Prelims” undercard was headlined by Karol Rosa vs. Pannie Kianzad. UFC Vegas 95’s undercard also featured Jhonata Diniz vs. Karl Williams.
