ONEONTA, NY – The Buffalo State women’s soccer team earned a crucial 1-0 victory over the Oneonta Red Dragons today at Red Dragon Field. The win gives the Bengals their most wins in a season and most conference wins in a season since 2016.

Ryan Berman (River Edge, NJ/River Dell) had the assist on the goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bengals offense got off to a fast start in the matchup as DePietro notched her second goal of the season.
Buffalo State would play strong defense the rest of the half to carry their 1-0 lead into halftime.
The Bengals stayed tough on defense despite late efforts from the Red Dragons. Willimas made a trio of saves, including one in the final three minutes of action, to help secure the team’s fifth shutout of the season.
The Red Dragons outshot the Bengals 12-9 overall with eight of their shots on goal.
